Making Moves to Get Ahead

Do you feel that when you are making the moves to get ahead, it sometimes feels lonely? The friends you've had since grade school seem to be content with just living paycheck to paycheck and spending their hard earned money mostly on things they want instead of applying it towards their responsibilities and things which are needed.
The friends you work with might want to blow money at happy hour after work and decide to tease you because you choose to go straight home or even begin to tell you that you're "acting" different for not hanging with them anymore.
Taking the step to change for the better is not a bad thing and you shouldn't feel embarrassed for becoming more responsible.
You don't have to go shopping after receiving a paycheck every week to have all of the latest fashions.
Just because the latest smartphone has been released, it's OK to hold on to the phone you are currently using since it still works! If others don't understand, you shouldn't let that affect you.
Take a look at their financial situation and ask yourself if that's where you'd like to be in the next 5 years! You say that you have goals and that you want the finer things in life, so your actions should reflect the same.
Start today in working towards accomplishing your goal to become financially set! Redo your budget list today and work towards paying off that debt! You just might be the one to inspire those friends to begin thinking and acting responsibly!
