Research on World Religion

When it comes to religion there are several aspects and areas that can be discussed and researched.
The only way to learn more about the various religions is to read on some that you have not attended or practiced.
However, there are classes that teach the various religions, but, not everyone wants to commit to a college course.
Authors, articles and websites are the next best venue for information.
So, I wanted to review some information based on historical research that an author had already done.
A book titled "19000 Years of World History" caught my eye and it was of good size which gave me the impression that the author Prithviraj Rathod had spent quite a large amount of time researching the information.
After reading this, what I appreciated was the fact that it was told from the historical point of the religions.
This author discussed the various religions as they were started and were practiced, to include, when they were passed on to the future members and generations.
So you could follow how some of the prophets, beliefs, and even how some of the discrepancies came about over the years.
It basically came down to interpretation and communication, which happens in a lot of things, even in conversations today.
If you talk to anyone regarding religion it is all based on the knowledge of "Good" and "Evil" and how you practice is based on the beliefs of your faith.
The research this author did, in addition, to the vivid descriptions of the area and environment, how the religion is practiced, and mentions of some rituals performed was of great in interest to me, as the reader.
It helped me better understand the time frame.
Of course, all religions practice their own rituals in their own faith.
There will always be discussions about religions and various religious beliefs, even the good and bad of practicing against the "Good" and "Evil" that we all as humans fight against each day.
The comforting fact is we all have the chance to choose and believe in what feels right for us, each and every day.
