Is America"s Current Government Beginning to Look More Like Cuba"s Socialist Government?

To answer the title to this article I want to reveal some facts about the Cuban government.
You can then draw your own conclusion as to whether our current government in the USA is beginning to look like that of the socialist government in Cuba.
Cuba nationalized public healthcare, utilities, and the education systems.
They have a program of neighborhood spying called "Committees For the Defense of the Revolution".
Computers are just now being allowed to be used in Cuba, previously to 2008 you would have been thrown in jail there for using one.
All television and radio stations are government controlled as well as newspapers and journalism.
Cuba has unlimited access to abortion.
Right after universal healthcare was implemented, thousands of doctors left the country.
Doctors that have stayed are paid poorly, they have poor medical facilities, lack of medicines, and proper equipment.
Education in Cuba has a strong political and ideological emphasis and students are taught to have a commitment to the goals of the Cuban government.
Their education and cultural ideology is based on Marxism.
Cuba has a planned economy ran by the government.
The wages which are low, are paid by the government.
Citizens of Cuba have to watch what they say and do, as they are closely monitored by the CDR, (Committees for the Defense of the Revolution), with files on each individual, in each block, of each town.
It is against the law to say or do anything "counter revolutionary.
" Castro had set up a system which deprives the people of their basic right and represses all forms of political dissent.
This system is still in effect today.
There is much corruption and abuse of people in Cuba still today, with the government getting richer and the people getting poorer.
The government owns the tourist industry, including national parks and museums.
The military are the only ones allowed to own guns in Cuba.
The people have very few, or no jobs, and a once prosperous Havana is in perpetual poverty, with lack of housing and consumer goods.
The elite and military of that country are the only ones who prosper.
Cuba has propaganda and lies on every level.
The governmental socialist system in Cuba rules with disinformation, repression, and even terror against peaceful human rights defenders, and even citizens who complain.
People who are known to promote human rights are closely monitored by the government, and are put into prison.
Religious persecution is commonplace there also.
On a recent cable news broadcast it was stated that Fidel Castro is now praising Barack Obama for his healthcare reform.
Our government has recently made changes such as taking over major financial institutions, the auto industries, as well as healthcare.
Other proposals of expanding our government are on the horizon.
I wrote this with the opportunity for the reader to draw their own conclusion with the facts given, as to whether America's government is beginning to look more like Cuba's Socialist government.
