Those traveling to Texas will find a number of tourist attractions located near the the state's border. These attractions offer something for everyone, from beautiful rose gardens to antique cars. - Positioned near the western border of Texas, the Clovis Depot Model Train Museum offers tours of the historic Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway Depot built in 1907. Inside the station, tourists will find a variety of scaled model trains and toy trains, as well as a gift shop. The Clovis Depot Model Train Museum is open Wednesday through Sunday from noon until 5 p.m., with special hours during the months of February and September.

This museum exhibits a collection of antique automobiles, along with automotive artifacts like photographs and documents. The museum features permanent collections, as well as special exhibits during certain times of the year. Gift items and souvenirs are available for sale at the museum's gift shop. The Four States Auto Museum is open Saturday and Sunday until 4 p.m. Private tours can be arranged with advanced notice.

With over 65 varieties of roses and more than 20,000 rose bushes, this is the country's largest garden dedicated solely to the rose flower. Roses are in bloom from April until October, but the Gardens of the American Rose Center are open daily throughout the year to accommodate special events.

This museum portrays the lives of ranchers and farmers inhabiting the area during the Dust Bowl days and the Great Depression. The museum is also home to exhibits featuring artifacts from Native American settlers and paleontological items discovered in the area. The No Man's Land Museum is open Tuesday through Saturday, with times varying depending on the season. Admission to the museum is always free.
