Hope College

• Hope College is a private college affiliated with the Reformed Church of America. This school offers 87 majors, including Arabic, economics and neuroscience. The Mellon Scholars Program is a competitive research program undertaken by sophomores, juniors and seniors. The campus community includes 11 residence halls and 63 cottages located only five minutes from Lake Michigan. Student organizations--including Ballet Club and Ultimate Frisbee--are funded by Hope College. Alma College

• Alma College in central Michigan is a private college associated with the Presbyterian Church. Students choose from undergraduate programs like cognitive science and library research. • Hillsdale College in southern Michigan is a non-sectarian school with majors ranging from computational mathematics to financial management. Hillsdale College runs eight all-female residences and three all-male residences. • Marygrove College is a small Catholic college located in Detroit. Undergraduate students complete degrees in areas like child development and religious studies.
