My LG Washer WM06242H Will Not Drain

    • 1). Locate the drain filter cover. This cover is on the front of your appliance, at the bottom left side.

    • 2). Flip open the cover and pull the drain hose inside it from the washer.

    • 3). Place this drain hose into the bucket or pan you have near the washer.

    • 4). Remove the plug from the end of the drain hose. Water will drain from the hose to the bucket.

    • 5). Turn the filter handle counterclockwise to remove the filter. Remove dirt, hair or other debris stuck to the filter, then put the filter back in place.

    • 6). Place the drain hose cap back in place on the end of the hose, then flip the door closed.
