How to Glue a Poster to Posterboard

    • 1). Place the paper towels in a rectangular pattern on a flat surface, like a table or floor, and put the poster board on top of them. The paper towels should stick out about 3 inches from the edge of the poster board.

    • 2). Shake the spray adhesive well and spray it evenly over the surface of the poster board. The paper towels will catch excess adhesive around the edges of the board, protecting your table or floor.

    • 3). Place the poster on top of the poster board, smoothing your hands over the poster. Apply light pressure and work out from the center of the poster. Smooth out any wrinkles or air bubbles that appear by pushing them out toward the edges of the poster.

    • 4). Trim any excess poster board from around the edges of the poster using scissors. Your poster is now ready for hanging or framing.
