Unlike every day, I was singing nursery rhymes for my son Arhyaan a 2 year toddler with fair skin tone and lovely eyes. He was rested on my lap, quietly listening to me and murmuring some words of the poem. His soft voice made me think and clanged my thought process that is preschool education essential for my 2 year old toddler?
I was curious to know conclusion, out of curiosity I picked my telephone directory and started dialing numbers of preschools and researched the activities that are being carried by the preschools.
I was explained well by principals that preschool education courses are conceptualized to give a kid a proper guidance on team building activities learning how to share, importance of moral values while staying in the society and getting themselves acquainted to numbers, shapes, colors, letters. It's being proven that children who get enrolled in preschools in the early childhood can grasp well and have higher sense of listening and learning skills than those who directly join schools.
Preschool education persuades the toddler to respect others, to compromise and how to be problem solving. In these years, being a parent I have learned that if you are mother of toddler it's impossible to make them sit at one place and make them learn things and they are not so grown up to differentiate between what's right and what's not. Preschool tries to satisfy their minds and make learning a fun for them so that they easily groom up their persona.
Preschool set a different stage for a toddler and allows parents to know their interest from early childhood as this could also aid a help to know their niche and spheres in other extra circular activities. Every circular year consist of sports activities, fitness programs, recreational activities, painting and much more activities.
Arhyaan has learnt many things from me and my husband, but making him feel confident and able to discover him in the crowd could be only done in preschool.
As proud parents, we took Arhyaan to the preschool and imagine excited Arhyaan was rushing towards those small slides, will sitting in the school office we insisted to take a look on the entire premises. While passing over the classrooms we saw a big projector flashing towards screen and visuals of nursery rhymes playing. Preschool education system has changed and they growing with gadgets and technology.
It is being scientifically proven that early learning can develop a habit and interest towards studying and thus a great contribution to the society's development.
It's a myth that preschool is only meant for playing, eating Tiffin's and limited to enjoying, instead Preschools are programmed in such a way that a child from scratch to structuring alphabets till end is thought by preschools. They also informed us that they prepare toddlers to speak for school interviews so they don't fear from strangers and do well in the school interview.
