Discovering Purpose in the Puzzle of Life

What is it that we really want? To fit in.
That doesn't mean to fit in socially.
It means to know ourselves as part of a whole, to know that we have a purpose here.
Don't we all want that? This journey of God knowing Itself appears like a puzzle.
The puzzle has always been complete, but it is the seeming appearance of pieces of the puzzle which defines God.
Each of us, as an expression and manifestation of God, is a piece of the puzzle, and within each piece are more pieces and then more pieces, etc.
There are no pieces which are better than others.
There is no right or wrong way to put the puzzle together.
When you go one way with reconstructing the puzzle, you have to put in certain pieces before other ones will fit.
The absence of pieces defines the complete puzzle.
This is how God, as all that exists, can know its Oneness, its wholeness.
Joy comes with putting pieces into the puzzle, seeing the whole take shape.
As pieces of the puzzle, we choose experiences which many would deem as "negative," but these experiences are simply the taking of pieces out so that they can be put back together.
Rejoice and have gratitude in the awareness of this reconstruction process within yourself, because this is awareness of your divinity.
When the puzzle is complete, we will do it all over again.
What happens if a piece of the puzzle is missing? Is the puzzle incomplete without the piece that is you? Every piece is essential to the whole puzzle.
Not only is every piece needed to complete it, but every piece has the role of fitting in with the pieces around it.
When we recognize this and we allow ourselves to be placed into our spot in the puzzle, we go into place without effort.
The fit is perfect, and because of this, the seams between pieces become blurred.
So much so that when we take a step back from the puzzle, we no longer see individual pieces.
We see only the whole.
The puzzle is Love.
There are no missing pieces, there is no separation.
Yet, we pretend there are missing pieces.
What do you have when Love appears missing? Fear, guilt, self judgment, shame, just to name a few.
We get attached to a "negative" connotation around these, but when you put a piece of the puzzle back by remembering that Love was never not present, you simply acknowledge that self judgment or fear no longer serves the purpose for which it was used, which was to know your Oneness.
