If you are in the situation where you are looking at cures for anxiety then you have clearly decided you need some form of help to deal with the tensions in your life.
Cures for anxiety come in different packages, but they broadly fall into two categories.
The first are medical, in the shape of drugs to try and limit the effects of stress, depression, tension and so on.
The other is more in terms of forms of therapy, be it external counselling or examining self-help programmes.
Drugs can have their role in cures for anxiety.
The downside is that they can leave people feeling as if they have gone from feeling over emotional to quite the opposite.
Some users of anxiety drugs have described their lives as if "they were watching them on TV", indicating a significant degree of detachment, which is not always a positive.

The key though, is to find one of the cures for anxiety that can actually help change your behaviour.
CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) and variants are one form of help that tries to challenge the responses and patterns that lead to anxiety.
The reason this is so important is because, once anxiety reaches a certain level, then there is really no escape.
This is because when the brain is so worried it sees a "threat" it goes into a very primitive mode of almost "fight or flight" response.
When your brain thinks survival is at stake - even when its nothing more than dealing with a presentation - it is reacting very instinctively at a point which rational thought does not really operate.
So, good cures for anxiety prevent you getting into this state in the first place.
Look for that and you have a chance of finding something that can work for you.
