Natural Raw Foods

Hey, surely you are joking when you blame all your ills on something or someone else! Let me be direct with you, "you can do it!" That's right, you read it right the first time, you have the power to choose, the power to change and the power to make a difference in your life.
And guess what, it can be easier than you think.
Unfortunately society has conditioned us to look at the nicely presented processed foods as the only way to satisfy our desire.
We see the natural unprocessed foods as something to avoid.

we all experience this trick of marketing, but did you ever put it to the test? Here is the challenge: visit a local greengrocer and select a range of different raw foods.
If it is fruit you could select a banana, an apple, an orange and a melon etc.
Then take it home and prepare a simple fruit salad.
When you are hungry, eat a balanced serving from the fruit salad.
But, before eating pause and savour the sweet and healthy aroma of your specially prepared natural foods.
The pause before you start to eat should last at least two minutes.
And with each inward breath through the nose you will feel the benefit of food created just for you, to benefit you.
Additionally, you can in similar manner choose from a range of fresh vegetables.
For extra savour remember to include some herbs, onions or other spices.
It is not our purpose to re-write the wonderfully written books of recipes, the books on natural foods or the endless dietary tomes.
Our purpose is simply to ignite a desire to improve your lifestyle, to better your health and to enjoy the natural produce of creation.
What a monstrous world we live in to be beguiled by excess, driven to stuff ourselves with more than we need until we are overfed, overweight and over budget as well.
Today is the start of the rest of our life.
Starting right now we can make sure we enjoy that time.
It is often sobering to see others struggling with excess weight or health issues that have been caused by poor choice.
Man has reason and desire.
When the desire grows to be a monster, overpowering reason, we are a step closer to being devoured by what we devour.
How about another few examples: Place on a plate an amount of food that seems to be sufficient for your meal.
Then before starting to eat make a pact with yourself, that you will not eat more than you have served.
Remember to make sure that you start by serving a good serving, especially in relation to the size of your stomach it will appear a generous serving.
At the end of the meal do not eat any more.
No! Now wait 20 minutes and see what happens.
Ordinarily, after eating we are still hungry because our system has not yet adjusted.
The mistake is to try to satisfy this short term feeling of lack.
But, if you wait the 20 minutes it is most likely you will feel satisfied and not need more.
Life is wonderful! And a good balance and harmony in our life can ensure it continues to be wonderful.
