- 1). Press the latch to open the tablet PC. Gently pull up the screen.
- 2). Power the tablet PC on by pushing the "Power" button. This button is generally located at the bottom left-hand side of the tablet PC screen.
- 3). Open a drawing application for the tablet PC. At least one drawing program likely came pre-installed on your tablet PC. Microsoft and lesser-known web developers have also created drawing applications that can be downloaded online (see Resources).
- 4). Hold the top center of the tablet PC screen between your fingers. Twist the screen in a clock-wise direction until it is turned around completely, then pull the screen down until it is laying on the keyboard with the screen facing up.
- 5). Turn the tablet PC around so that the application is facing up on the screen. This will ensure that your drawing is right side up.
- 6). Use the stylus that came with the tablet PC to draw on the screen. Other writing devices can damage the tablet PC screen.
- 7). Save your drawing to the PC with either the stylus or the mouse, which will still work even though the screen is folded down. To save with the the stylus, press down on the word "File" on the menu bar until the mouse icon appears. Then, remove the stylus from the screen to make the "File" menu appear. Tap the "Save" option on the menu. To save with the mouse, click on the "File" menu and select "Save."
