- If your Viking Range will not turn on, it may not be connected to the electrical source correctly. You should have an electrician the circuit breakers, fuses and the wiring. You may find that your oven will not work when you program a self-cleaning cycle. Make sure the oven door is completely closed so that the automatic door latch can lock. If you find that your range is not clean after a self-cleaning program, you should make sure that the temperature control knob is rotated all the way past the word Clean, until it stops and can't go any further.
- If the broiler does not work on your Viking range, make sure the temperature control knob is not turned too far past the broiler position. If the door to your unit will not open, your oven may still be in the middle of a self-cleaning cycle. The door will unlock when the oven has cooled down enough. You may have a burned out bulb if the range light does not work. If that is not the case, make sure the unit it hooked up to the power source.
- If the igniters will not work, perhaps the circuit breaker tripped or a fuse has blown. If the igniter is sparking but there is no flame ignition, make sure the gas supply is not in the Off position. Also, make sure the gas supply is not interrupted in some way. If the igniter is continuously sparking after the flame is already lit, your power supply may not be grounded or its polarity may be reversed. In addition, ensure the igniters are not wet or dirty.
