- Start this dance move by standing upright. Move your right foot to the right and back. Keep balance by moving your right arm in the air rhythmically. This should look like a calculated hand gesture and not a desperate attempt to avoid falling. Lean to the left at the same time. This will help keep your balance and looks good.
Move your right foot back to the original position. Then, without pausing, move your left foot as you did your right, moving your body and left arm in the same way. Rotate in a circle while you do this, or move around the floor from foot to foot. Add variations to this dance as you see fit. - Stand upright with your feet together. Your arms should rest at your side. Kick your right foot to the front quickly, and immediately bring it back. Step a few inches to the right, bending while you put your weight onto your right foot. Pick up your left foot and step sideways to the left, shifting your weight to the left. Stand upright again. Kick your left foot and reverse the moves from earlier.
During this dance, move your arms up and down and to the sides. You can punch the air and/or jiggle your shoulders, as long as it's to the beat of the music. Your legwork is the most important part of this dance; your arms are just the icing on the dance cake. - Start with your feet shoulder-width apart. Place your left heel in front of your right foot. Pick your left foot up and point your toes to the left. Bend your knee and bring your left foot up to your left thigh. Keep your weight on your right foot. Lower your left leg to the ground by unbending your leg and putting your foot on the ground. Your left foot should be about a foot to the left of where you began. Duck and wiggle your shoulders. Slide your right foot to your left foot and stand up straight. Clap your hands while you move. Reverse the moves by going to the right.
