- 1). Connect one end of your USB cable into the USB port on your Craig MP3 player. Connect the other end of your USB cable into an open USB port on your computer. USB ports are located on the back or front of your computer, depending on the model. If you are using a laptop, the USB ports are generally located on the side or back of your computer.
- 2). Click the Windows "Start" button, then click "Computer" (Windows Vista and 7) or "My Computer" (Windows XP) to launch Windows Explorer. You should see your MP3 player listed as a portable hard disk, with an assigned drive letter. Most computers will assign the E drive to your Craig MP3 player, although others may assign it the F or D letter.
- 3). Double click your Craig MP3 player's portable hard disk to launch its directory window. Locate your music files from the folder that you saved them in, and drag them into the MP3 player's directory window. When you finish uploading your songs, close the directory window and click the "Safely remove hardware" icon located next to the clock on the system tray. Select your Craig MP3 player's portable hard disk in the hardware window and click "Stop." When prompted, disconnect your MP3 player from the computer.
