- 1). Take the Bose speaker plate and all the included accessories (such as the cover plate, wire harness and screws) out of the packaging and line up the speaker plate with the electrical gang box where you’ll be installing it.
- 2). Match the labels on the wires coming out of the electrical gang box with the labels on the speaker plate. (For example, “R” for Right, “SR” for Surround Right, “L” for Left and “SL” for Surround Left.) Insert the speaker wires into the proper connections on the speaker plate.
- 3). Line up the screw holes at the top of the speaker plate with the screw holes on the electrical gang box. Use the included screws and a philips-head screwdriver to fasten the speaker plate to the box.
- 4). Place the cover plate over the speaker plate and line up the screw holes with the other set of screw holes on the electrical gang box. Use the included screws and a philips-head screwdriver to fasten them.
- 5). Insert the wire harness into the speaker plate and then connect the multiple ends on the other side of the harness to the speaker connections on your surround sound receiver. Match up the labels on the wire ends with the labels on your surround sound receiver.
