- 1). View the microphone jack from the front panel. It's labeled "Mic." The "1" pin is at eleven o'clock and is the "Up" pin. Pin "2" is at ten o'clock and is the "+5V" pin. The pins map counter-clockwise with "Down" next; then "Fast;" then "Ground" at four o'clock followed by "PTT" at two o'clock. "Mic Ground" is at one'clock and "Mic" is at twelve o'clock.
- 2). Look at the "DC In" jack on the rear panel. The two negative connectors are on the left and the two positive connectors are on the right.
- 3). Check the "Rot" or rotator jack on the rear panel. "CW Rotation" is at eleven o'clock; "CCW Rotation" is at one o'clock; "Speed" is at nine o'clock; "Direction" is at three o'clock; "Ground" is at seven o'clock; and "NC" is at four o'clock.
- 4). View the "RTTY" jack from the rear panel. "Shift" is at eight o'clock; "RX Out" is at ten o'clock; "Ground" is at four o'clock and "PTT" is at two o'clock.
