How to Add Drupal CAPTCHA to Webforms

  • 1). Visit the Drupal CAPTCHA module page and download the module zip file for your version of Drupal.

  • 2). Sign in to your dashboard and click "Modules." Click "Install New Module" and click "Browse." Select the CAPTCHA module file you downloaded. Click "Install," and then check the box to enable the module.

  • 3). Click on "Configure" to configure the CAPTCHA module.

  • 4). Choose the type of CAPTCHA you want (image or traditional) for each webform. By default, there are nine webforms, including the user registration page.

  • 5). Choose "None" if you do not want to include a CAPTCHA puzzle for a specific webform.

  • 6). Type a custom CAPTCHA message, if desired, or use the default message:

"This question is for testing whether you are a human visitor and to prevent automated spam submissions."

  • 7). Click on "Save Configuration" to finish configuring the CAPTCHA module for your webforms.
