Trust that I love you, even though I may not always show it.
You see, I learned growing up that earning love and affection meant I had to do or behave in a certain way.
I tried my best to find approval yet what I received in return was more of a reward than what love actually is.
It has taken me quite a lot of learning to understand that saying I love you does not require me to do but rather to simply be.
To be fully present with you means that no matter what you are going through I am there.
I am there.
I do not need to fix anything about you or your situation to show you that I love you.
Love I have learned is a feeling of warmth emanating from my heart.
It makes me to feel weak in the knees and begs me to allow it to flow over me like waves in the ocean.
When I am in this place I can freely express this unconditional love I feel for you and this is how you can recognize it.

• Look into my eyes - They will be soft and tender.
  
• Notice my breathing - It will be deep into my belly.
  
• Observe my posture - I will be relaxed and at ease.
  
• I will hear you - I will listen more than I talk.
  
• Listen to my words - They will be without judgement or blame.
  
• Feel my touch - Love will flow from my hands to you.
  
• When I kiss you - You will feel the energy rush to your core.
  

When I love you completely, unconditionally, I will not expect you to behave a certain way just to make me feel superior.
I am no more or less than you are.
We are both growing souls attempting to find our way on this physical plane of existence.
We are seeking the path back home through our relationship and I trust the route we have chosen together.
You are my mirror and when I recognize imperfections in you I know that what I am seeing is a pure reflection of me.
I have been viewing life through the lenses of ignorance.
Ignoring the fact that you and I are expressions of the unconditional love of spirit.
I see glimpses of this and it resonates with the deep longing I have in my soul to be connected with you.
Depending on my day, I may not always be as in touch with my heart felt feelings as i ought to be.
I ultimately know we are all pure expressions of love and I know that all the crap I have piled on top of my feelings has obscured my vision of this truth.
You as my partner are helping me to grow.
Helping me to feel my way back to my source.
I am forever grateful for this and it causes me to love you even deeper.
