Everyone knows that Al Qaeda is a very patient organization and they plan and plot for years until they strike.
This is a huge advantage for intelligence authorities and security professionals, as it only takes one mistake from the international terrorists and we catch them.
Keeping a secret between many different people for a very long period of time is not easy and each time one of the terrorists tries to get special training, sends off for a package of goodies or travels we have the opportunity to catch them and to look deeper to see if there's anything there.
Continuous hyper vigilance is needed now.
This is why all Americans should be on the lookout for things that are out of place and suspicious behavior.
A simple tip could lead police and the FBI to catch the suspects way in advance.
Al Qaeda may be very patient and that might be seen as an advantage, however I see it as a disadvantage for them and an advantage for us.
The longer they plot the greater our chances are of catching them in suspicious behavior.
Many international terrorist plots have been uncovered and the attacks have been avoided and we can even do better in the future from what we have learned in the past.
Perhaps we need to throw away the political correctness and start being hyper vigilant with things that look out of place.
Judging by the interval between attacks it would appear that the United States of America is overdue from another message from Al Qaeda.
There is a lot of chatter and talk in different parts of the world about the next attack on a major Western civilization city.
Obviously, the United States is on the list of preferred targets for Al Qaeda and they know very well that they are the number one top priority of the United States military, our intelligence officials and the FBI.
Perhaps we need to also ask our citizens to keep out an extra watchful eye so we can to also help to prevent the next attack.
