Polygon Drawing

• 1). Draw a straight line with a ruler.
  
  
• 2). Draw another line, using the ruler as a guide, that connects to the first line.
  
  
• 3). Continue drawing lines until you enclose the figure by connecting the last line and the first line.
  
  

Polygon Model

• 1). Place a toothpick horizontally on a flat surface.
  
  
• 2). Insert each end of the toothpick into a gumdrop.
  
  
• 3). Insert a toothpick pointing downward into each gumdrop.
  
  
• 4). Place a gumdrop onto the ends of the two toothpicks that are pointing downward.
  
  
• 5). Enclose the square by placing a toothpick between the bottom two gumdrops.
