Life just sucks sometimes I know you have had days that you thought would just never end haven't you? Sometimes it seems like things are coming at you so fast that you cannot possibly deal with them all. When life gets like this it is very easy to take for granted the person in your life that you love the most. You assume that they understand, when in reality they are the one you need to be most concerned about. In this article we will discuss three ways you can keep from driving your partner crazy when your world is a little out of control.

There is a huge power in "to-do" lists. To-do lists are like mini goals that you set for each day. Just like with goal setting there is power in writing a to-do list down. Wherever I go I carry a list just like this. It keeps me on track when things get moving so fast. In my line of work a million things can come at you at once. This list will keep you on task and will help you accomplish things. When you create a to do list and follow it there is a sense of satisfaction being able to see what you have completed.

I saw a funny line once, it said, "I know God will never give me more than I can handle, I just wish he didn't think so highly of me." We often take on way more than we should. That can be a real source of stress in our lives. When you find yourself in that situation it is time to re-prioritize. People often think that priorities are things that are set in stone. I believe that they are fluid and you can change them on the fly. Sit down about once a week and look at your life and what things are important in it. Some things like family, work, etc will always be at the top of the list. Some of the items on your list you will find are less important and there is no reason to stress over them because they are now lower in priority.

Ask for help. So many times people who are very independent get used to doing everything themselves. It becomes very hard for them to ask for help. Your partner is not there to be your slave, but the two of you are to be a team. Don't neglect the use of your team members abilities. Not only will it help you get things done, which will lower your overall stress, but it will also make them feel more like a part of things. You will build trust and it will help your communications as well.

Life seems to gang up on me sometimes, I am sure you know what I mean. Sometimes it just feels like there are not enough hours in the day, or days in the week to get everything done. When you feel like that, take these ideas and put them into use. You will see a difference.
