5 Weird Tips To Lose Your Love Handles And Back Fat

Love handles and back fat are the problem areas for most people, especially men who are trying to lose weight. A lot of times they lose a lot of weight, only to hit a plateau or a road block when it comes to getting that six pack. I have been there myself, but all is not lost. Many clients come to me with the same problem so through experimentation I came up with some weird tricks to utilize to get those last pounds off. I am going to share just 5 of them today with you.

Weird Tip #1: Perform high intensity exercise. High intensity exercise is anything that really gets your heart rate up. Such examples are sprint intervals, hill training, sled dragging, and super setting resistance exercises. All of these different methods raise your EPOC levels. This is positively correlated with an increase in metabolism. The higher your metabolism, the more calories you are going to burn and the more fat will be burned off of your belly in the process.

Weird Tip #2: Stop performing slow, boring, cardio. Regular cardio such as jogging on the elliptical, over time, is going to actually hinder your results. For example, have you ever seen an example of a marathon runner? They are very skinny, gawky, and emaciated a lot of the times. Now, look at the physique of a sprinter. They are lean and muscular. I guarantee you rather look like the sprinter than the marathon runner. The body will adapt to regular jogging over time and it will burn less and less calories. You will also break down a lot of muscle in the process.

Weird Tip #3: Eat all of your carbs in the morning, specifically fruit. In the morning and first half of the day, your body is sensitive to carbs and wants a lot of them. This is great because there is a good chance they will not be stored as fat. As you go through the day, this switches to the opposite side of the spectrum.

Weird Tip #4: Eat more protein. Protein is 30% more thermogenic than carbs of fat. This means that the body has a harder time breaking down protein as compared to carbs and fat. Thus, it utilizes more energy in the form of calories to perform this task. Also, because of all the exercise you will be performing, your body will need the extra protein to repair the damaged tissue.

Weird Tip #5: Eat fast acting carbs after your workout. I know this goes against what I have said but this is the only other time you get to eat carbs. Your body during this time is like a sponge. Because you just beat it up and used up your energy stores, it wants to repair itself with carbs and protein. And your body needs these materials fast. Such carbs that you can ingest during this time is anything like glucose, maltodextrin, dextrose, rice, yogurt, Gatorade etc.

Use these tips in your fat loss regiment right away. I guarantee you will see results. This is just a small amount of tricks that I have. Ill keep the rest for another fat loss article.
