I can't stop my panic attacks what can I do? The most important thing you can do is stop expecting that you're going to have an attack.
How do you stop expecting an attack? Every time the thought of an anxiety attack pops into your head think of something else.
Don't dwell on the thought.
The more you think about it the more you will think about it.
It's that simple.
The next thing you feel is stress.
Many self-improvement experts will say that everything starts in the mind whatever you think about will happen to you.
Now nobodies' intention is to want a stress attack.
That's why you need to learn about your mind-body connection.
One of the ways that you can reduce stress is have a look at your whole life, there is a reason that your body is feeling stressed there are things that you need to take care of and your body is trying to tell you that.
Look at ways that you can improve in your environment.
There are certain environments that create stress.
For example you may feel more stressed out at work then you will at home.
This is a good indication that something is not right.
What is it that's making you feel stressed and why? If it is your job and if you are in a position to be able to do so find another job.
Find a job that doesn't stress you out.
Another thing that you can do is if your panic attacks are severe ask for some time off to help you deal with your problems.
If you're having panic attacks at home as well, one of the things that you can do is improve the way your home is.
Make your environment clutter free get rid of old junk by giving them to the charity shop.
When your environment is cluttered so is your mind.
Also do things for your body that will calm you down like taking long relaxing baths.
Treat yourself to things that make you feel better.
If you're not exercising regularly you can start an exercise regimen.
If you can't go to the gym go for walk.
Walking is free and is great for your health.
If you suffer from insomnia because of the stress, at night time make sure you don't eat or drink any stimulating foods.
Stimulating drinks like coffee, tea or energy drinks.
Also avoid alcohol.
Alcohol is a depressant.
Although it might make you feel good it depresses your immune system.
It's also dangerous to drink alcohol if you are taking medications.
