The Power of Ideas

Everything that happens to you is the result of an idea.
And ideas only come in two categories: untrue, and true.
Untrue ideas are based on faulty premises, unclear thinking, incorrect assumptions, and unprincipled thinking.
True ideas are based on the immutable laws of the universe, principles, and proven facts.
Whatever happens externally is the result of an internal idea.
Some internal ideas result in peace, joy, prosperity, and wisdom, while others result in trouble, misery, sickness, and even death.
The ideas you choose to believe can have a powerful influence on your life.
Go to a nursing home sometime, and observe the different demeanors of the various residents.
You will clearly see how someone's attitude affects their health, and their whole way of looking at life.
Some residents are downright mean, fearful, or hysterical.
Their minds and thoughts are tainted by a lifetime of believing lies.
Their state is a consequence of the internal ideas they believed and based their lives on.
Other residents, even very old ones, carry with them a sense of buoyant joy, thankfulness, and cheer.
Sometimes it is the most physically handicapped ones with this spirit, but the ideas of truth they based their lives on are more than enough to keep their spirits high despite any physical ailment.
The truth is that you can decide what kind of life you are going to have.
You can choose to believe truth, and live a life of joy, liberty, purpose, and meaning, or you can choose to believe lies and live in bondage to them.
Whatever you choose, those ideas will have great power in your life, and will change your life, and the lives of those around you.
I urge you to discover the life of liberty.
Liberty is the opportunity to make a choice to assume responsibility and accept the consequences.
A life of liberty is based on the laws of the universe, on universal principles that will not fall sway to the forces of relativism or pluralism.
Liberty is a powerful idea with the power to change your life for good.
The ideas of liberty are powerful because of what they are based on: principles, values, freedom, opportunity, choice, responsibility, self-government, and wisdom.
Our nation was founded on the principles of liberty and has enjoyed nearly 250 years of relative prosperity as a result.
However, in recent decades, our liberty has been increasingly eroded.
Problems and inconsistencies in our belief systems have triggered an educational crisis, which inevitably leads to a governmental problem.
Governmental problems lead to economic crises, the likes of which the United States is experiencing today.
What most do not understand is that our prosperity is inextricably tied to the amount of liberty we have.
If people do not understand liberty, it will continue to be lost.
That is why it is so important that the ideas you base your life upon are truthful.
The character of a people determine the course of a nation.
In order for America to continue as a nation of liberty, its people must live principled lives.
All ideas have consequences.
Do you want to risk building your life on faulty ideas, and continue America's slide away from liberty and its core principles? Or do you want a life of truth, that brings joy, peace, prosperity, and builds up the character of the nation? The preservation and sustainment of Liberty depends on you.
It's time to discover liberty or lose it.
