The par 51 course has 18 holes ranging in length from 57 to 125 feet with sand traps, ponds and boulders. In total, the course is 1,662 feet long and takes about one hour and 45 minutes to complete. The course is fairly difficult and is recommended for people older than eight years, although anyone is welcome to play on the course. The Centennial Lakes Park Putting Course is located in the middle of the scenic park and several other attractions including paddle boats and lawn games are available within the park.

The course opened in 1996 and features more than 5,000 square feet of putting surface. The company's website claims the course is at least 25 percent larger than most other local miniature golf courses. The course features natural-looking greens with undulating hills and curves, nine water hazards and several waterfalls. The par 48 course is a bit difficult for younger children, according to on-line reviews and the average score for the course is 60, according to the course's website. The Links at Dred Scot Miniature Golf is situated on the eastern side of the Dred Scot Playfield.
