What Makes Men Fall in Love? - Get on His Good Side

Do you wonder if men are capable of falling in love? Are you presently dating a guy you really like and dream of having him tell you he loves you? Have you gone through this many times before and it has always ended in heartache? While, admittedly, some men are just out there to have a good time, there are many men who long for a solid, loving relationship just as much as you do.
You just have to know how to reach that common goal.
Have you ever heard women complaining about the men in their lives? He forgot her birthday.
He didn't buy roses on Valentine's.
He went out with his buddies again.
But have you perhaps noticed that during all this he did sweep her away to a secluded cabin for a week-end, he gave her the keys to his car because hers was not running smoothly, and he brings her to see a chic-flick every Tuesday night.
What does this tell you? Are we appreciating men for what they do or do we just choose to criticize what they don't do? Men want to feel appreciated for who they are and, though they may not always get it right in our own little version of a romance novel, a lot of guys are putting in a concerted effort to please us and still being berated for it.
Is it any wonder they don't want to move the relationship further along.
If you really like the guy and you want him to love you, show him that you care for him, that you admire him and that you respect the man that he is.
If you find it childish that he plays videos games, but you know that he does have a high pressure job, don't tell him to grow up, but respect that this is his way of relaxing.
The man who is always playing video games, acting like a child, fleeing responsibility and looking only to have fun is perhaps a man you want to consider leaving to someone else rather than fight to change him into a responsible adult.
Open up to him and let him know you're ready to listen to him.
Don't judge, ridicule or shrug off whatever he may have to tell you.
That will only encourage him to stop speaking to you in the long wrong.
Let him know he can come to you with anything and feel comfortable, even if it is telling you about his shortcomings.
