Of the Valencia side that go to the Champions' league final in 2001, very few are still at the club.
Find out where the players are now and a brief biography of their playing careers.
Some of them went off the rails and very few went on to bigger things after they left Valencia.
This is Part 2 of their story.
Gaiska Mendietta is a 33-year old ex Spanish international with 38 caps and 10 goals to his name.
He played in midfield on the right hand side.
He was at 1 time possibly the most complete midfielder in Europe with tireless and skillful displays allied with goals.
He was a very skillful version of Roy Keane.
Then it all went wrong as he made a high money move to Lazio in Italy.
He has not been anywhere near the same player ever since which is such a shame as he was incredible at 1 point.
He is currently at Middlesboro and that in itself shows how much his stock has fallen having played for Barcelona.
He hardly features at all at Middlesboro and his fall from grace is 1 of the biggest mysteries in recent football times.
Kily Gonzales is a 33-year old Argentina international whose best days are firmly behind him.
He has 56 caps and 10 goals for his country and played on the left hand side of the midfield.
He was 1 of the most feared wingers in European football in his pomp because of his blistering pace and ferocious shooting.
Like Mendietta he completely lost his way following a big money move to Italy, this time to Inter Milan.
He is currently at his 1st club Rosario Central in Argentina having also played for Boca Juniors and Real Zaragoza Juan Sanchez is 35-year old retired ex Spanish footballer with 1 cap that played as a striker in the final.
He played for Real Mallorca and Celta Vigo in his career.
Pablo Aimar is 28-year old current Argentina international with 47 caps and goals to his credit.
He played as an attacking midfielder in the final.
He is currently at Real Zaragoza and is another player that has not really hit the heights that his early career and potential promised.
He is 1 of the most intelligent users of the ball in the world and should be playing at a higher level with no disrespect to Zaragoza.
He previously played for River Plate.
John Carew is a 28-year old current Norway international with 67 caps and 20 goals.
He played as a striker in the final.
He has played for Rosenborg, Lyon and is currently at Aston Villa.
Substitutes Andres Palop is a 34 year old goal keeper currently plying his trade at Sevilla.
He is well known for saving spot kicks and last season he had the distinction of scoring the equalizing goal in last season's UEFA cup quarter final against Shahktar Donesk in Ukraine that took the tie to penalties resulting in his side eventually winning.
Miroslav Dukic is a 42-year old ex Serbia and Yugoslavia international with 48 caps and 2 goals.

Fabio Aurelio was an unused substitute and is currently at Liverpool.
He is Brazilian, 28 and previously played for Sao Paolo.
Zlatko Zahovic is 37 year old ex Slovenia international with 80 caps and 35 goals.
He is arguably his country's most gifted player and came on in the 66th minute for Juan Sanchez.
He has played for FK Partizan, Vitoria De Guimares, FC Porto, Olympiacos and at Benfica where he retired at the premature age of 30 years old when he left them in the mid-season of 2000/01.
Vicente is 26 year old left sided midfielder or winger and was an unused substitute in the final.
He is a Spanish international with 38 caps and 3 goals and at 1 time threatened to be the best left winger in the world but unfortunately for the past 4 years he has suffered from long term injuries and he is nowhere near the same player he once was.
He is still at Valencia where he is used sporadically due to bad form.
He previously appeared for Levante.
David Albelda is a 30 year old current Spain international with 52 caps.
He came on in for Aimar at the beginning of the 2nd half.
He is currently frozen out at Valencia and is a free agent although he has threatened to take Valencia to court but the case has been reportedly thrown out.
He was Valencia's captain until he was bombed out of the club by new manager Ronald Koeman acting on the orders of the board.
Paradoxically he is an integral part of the Spain side even though he does not have a team and is likely to go to the European championship later this year.
Didier Deschamps was an unused substitute and is 1 of the most decorated footballers of all time and needs very little if any introduction.
Manager Hector Cuper - He is a very defensive minded 52 year oldArgentine coach and has just being appointed the new manager ofserieA side Parma.
