- 1). Turn off your Sony Vaio, but do not disconnect it from its power source.
- 2). Press the Sony Vaio power button to restart your computer.
- 3). Press the “Delete” key on your Sony Vaio keyboard as soon as your system begins rebooting. You only have a few seconds to press the delete key before your operating system begins loading. Allow your system to completely reboot before restarting and trying again if you miss your opportunity.
If you are using a different keyboard than the one provided with your Sony Vaio, the “Delete” may say “Del” instead. - 4). Use your Sony Vaio keyboard's arrow keys to navigate through the BIOS.
- 5). Choose either “Save and Exit Setup” or “Exit” to exit the BIOS after making changes. If you choose “Exit,” your settings will not be saved.
