Fact

• The standard height for toilet paper roll placement is about 24 inches from the floor. The distance from the toilet seat should allow for comfort when reaching for the toilet tissue.
  
  

Consideration

• Make adjustments when the toilet is lower or higher than the standard seat. A person who is extremely tall or short in stature will need the height adjusted to have easy access to the toilet paper.
  
  

Mounting

• Locate at least one stud on the wall to fasten the screws to that will secure the dispenser. Tap on the wall until you hear a dull thud rather than a hollow sound. A stud finder will also locate the stud. Slide the stud finder vertically along the wall and watch the meter detector. Attach one screw into the stud for a steadfast hold.
