Telugu News Latest : Ex-mayor Gets Invisible! Hello Andhra

Cuddapah Telugu News Latest
: Brother-in-law of Late YSR, Ex-Mayor of Cuddapah Ravindranath Reddy is absconding. He was into warning officials of the co-op socities till Wednesday evening and all of a sudden is not visible anywhere. Highcourt has rejected to discard the cheating and forgery cases registered on him. This seems to be the reason for him to go absconding. Police prepared grounds to arrest him after the orders came in from the High Court.

A case was registered on Ravindranath Reddy before stating that he forgered the signature of Co-op society officer and illegally prepared their official stamp. YSRCP raised objections stating that TDP and Congress came together and registered fake voters during the society elections of Pedda Cheppali of Kamalapuram constituency from Cuddapah district. Ravindranath reddy on this said to have given a complaint to the concerned Co-op officer. But , DCO Chandra Sekhar said the signature and seal on the complaint does not belong to them.

He stated to have received only the xerox copies of the complaints from Ravindranath Reddy and noticed that the signature and seal were forgered. Regarding this TDP leaders filed a case on him and the Police registered cases on Ravindranath Reddy u/s 420,468,471 and 473 in the One town Police station, Cuddapah town.

Ravindranath Reddy filed a petition to High Court asking for discarding the cases and not to allow police to arrest him. Noting that there is some basis for the police registering an FIR against former Kadapa mayor P Ravindranath Reddy, JusticeRamesh Ranganathan of the high court dismissed his petition seeking its quashing. A case of cheating, forgery and use of fake seal was registered against Ravindranath by Kadapa police following a complaint lodged by Srinivasulu Reddy of Apparampalle village in Kamalapuram mandal.

The complainant alleged that the former mayor had handed over a representation to the divisional cooperative officer on January 12 by affixing the seal of the district cooperative officer demanding an inquiry into bogus members allegedly enrolled by TDP functionaries in Peddacheppali primary agricultural cooperative society in Kamalapuram mandal keeping in view the cooperative elections.

Ravindranath challenged the FIR and when this petition came up for hearing on Wednesday, the judge, after perusing the material that was placed before him by the Kadapa police, said that this is not the stage for the court to intervene. "Let the police complete investigation and if you are aggrieved by the report they file, then you can approach the court," the judge told the former mayor.
