- 1). If the dryer is not operating, ensure it is connected with a time-delay fuse. Make sure the door is firmly closed, the dryer is "ON" and the "Push to Start" button is pressed firmly.
- 2). Check the lint screen and exhaust vent or hood if the dryer is not drying clothes fully. Ensure the lint screen is clean and check the outside exhaust hood by running the dryer and holding a hand underneath the hood to check air movement. If no air is moving, the exhaust system and vent should be cleaned.
- 3). Clean out pockets prior to drying and remove any paper or tissue if lint appears on clothes in the dryer. Check the lint screen and clean after every use. Ensure loads are moderate in size, as lint may not carry properly to the lint screen in larger loads.
- 4). Match the clothes load with the proper fabric type if clothes remain wrinkled after drying. Ensure the load is moderate in size and the clothes are removed as soon as the dryer completes the cycle. Items left in the dryer may wrinkle over time.
- 5). If there is loud noise coming from the dryer, make sure the load is of moderate size. Buckles, buttons or loose coins may also cause noise during drying.
