Fast TV Downloads and Fancast.com are two of the best places to get movies. They are not located in a crowded mall or 5 miles from your home. They can both be found on the Internet.

Fast TV Downloads is a service you sign up for and have access to thousands of movies, TV shows and music. There are no limitations whatsoever. You have unlimited downloads with amazing picture and sound quality. The database is enormous and contains almost every movie and TV show ever made.

The downloads are DVD compatible, meaning they can be burned to a DVD and watched on any DVD player. This feature differentiates this service from many others. As a movie buff, I was skeptical about the quality but have been pleasantly surprised to find the picture is just as vibrant and crisp as a store-bought DVD. I also own a surround system and need to hear and feel the explosions from action movies. Once again, I can't tell a difference between the downloaded movie and a store-purchased one.

Fancast.com is another great site to find movies and TV shows. All you have to do is go to the Fancast website, download a flash player to play video and download the video. It doesn't take more than 10 minutes and you will be watching one of the movies or TV shows they have to offer.

Unlike Fast TV Downloads, Fancast has a limited selection of movies and TV shows.
They offer a couple hundred movies and mostly current network television shows. If you wanted to watch an older show this probably isn't the site to find it. Also, once you download the video, you must watch it on your computer. You can't burn it to a DVD and play it on your television.

As you can see, there are benefits to each site. Fast TV Downloads offers a larger selection of movies, TV shows and music and allows users to burn the media to a DVD or CD. Fancast is a great option if you missed a single episode of your favorite show and you don't mind watching it on your computer.
