How to Remove Grass From Stone Walkways

    • 1). Spray the walkway with a water hose to remove all the dirt and/or debris that may be present.

    • 2). Pour the distilled vinegar in a spray bottle. It does not have to be diluted with water.

    • 3). Spray the vinegar directly on any weeds that growing in the cracks and crevices of the stones and along the outside edges. This will prevent the grass and weeds from growing under the stones and back up through the crevices again. It is best to spray during full sun as the sun works in conjunction with the vinegar.

    • 4). Weeds and grass will wilt and die within four hours.

    • 5). Repeat as necessary and in any other areas that require removal of weeds and grass. Do not spray on flowers, as the vinegar will kill them as well.
