How to Merge a Project to a Different Library in Aperture

    Exporting the Project

    • 1). Click on the “Library” tab on the left-hand pane to switch to the library inspector.

    • 2). Navigate to and click on the project that you wish to export.

    • 3). Click “File,” then “Export” and “Project."

    • 4). Navigate to the location where you wish to export the project and enter a name for your exported project in the filename dialog box.

    • 5). Click the checkbox next to “Consolidate masters into exported project” if your project contains images that have been referenced from another project.

    • 6). Click “Export.”

    Merging the Exported Project

    • 1). Transfer the exported project to an external storage device or to the new computer, if you are merging the project to a library on a separate workstation.

      If you are merging the project to a different library on the same computer, click “File,” click “Switch to Library” and then select the new library to import into.

    • 2). Click “File,” then“Import” and then click “Library Project.”

    • 3). Select the exported project and click “Import.”

    • 4). Click “Merge” to merge the project into your library.
