Honey Almond Challah
Ground almonds lend textural interest and a mild, nutty flavor to this sweet, honey-scented challah. I like to use white whole wheat flour, either on it's own or mixed with all-purpose flour, in this recipe to create a heartier, more flavorful challah.
Tip: If you have trouble finding almond meal in stores, you can easily make your own in a coffee grinder or food processor.
