Learning Another Language for Free

    • 1). A list of foreign language courses is available online from the Foreign Service Institute. Turn on your computer and log on to the Internet. Enter an Internet search for http://fsi-language-courses.org/Content.php.

    • 2). Scroll down the list of foreign languages on the left of the screen. The language list is in alphabetical order. Click on a language that you would like to study. The new screen may offer several regional dialects of your chosen language.

    • 3). Click on the button to download the audio portion of the lessons. The download may take several minutes, depending on your Internet speed.

    • 4). Click on the buttons to download the books and study guides that accompany the audio lessons. These downloads are in the PDF format. There may be several manuals for each language course.

    • 5). Repeat this process for any other available languages that you want to study. You can download as many language courses as you want.
