How to Change a Linux Knoppix Password

    • 1). Open the Knoppix Menu by clicking on the Knoppix icon on the main toolbar.

    • 2). Highlight "Configuration" on the Knoppix menu to open the Configuration sub-menu. Select "Set Password" from the menu.

    • 3). Enter a new password into the "Password" box and re-enter the password into the "Confirm Password" box to prevent errors. If your account already has a password, you will be prompted to enter it before changing your password.

    • 4). Click "OK" to change your password. Your new password will become effective immediately.
