- 1). Stand upright and hold you hands out in front of you. Stay at ease and press your palms together, making sure to keep the finger tips out.
- 2). Take the measurement from your chest to your fingertips. This is where the assistant comes in handy.
- 3). Take your measurement from Step 2, subtract 15 inches and then divide it by 2. For example, if your measurement was 65 inches, subtract 15 for a remainder of 50. Divide 50 by 2 and get a result of 25. Your draw length is 25 inches in this example.
- 1). Take the draw length as determined in Section 1. Hold the Iceman crossbow and bring it up as if you are ready to fire. Dry-draw the string but do not dry-release.
- 2). Bring the string to just below your chin. Take a mental note of where the modules on the upper and lower cams are positioned. Bring the bow-string back to neutral.
- 3). Hand turn the modules to bring them back to the draw position and insert the hex wrench into the hex screw while maintaining the position of the module. Give a 1/2 turn clockwise to lock the draw length to your setting. Do this for both top and bottom module.
- 4). Stand at your ready stance and dry-draw the bow-string. Have your friend measure the draw length from the bow shaft handle to the draw apex (near your chin) and confirm this is your draw-length.
