Pregnancy Nausea - When You"ve Had Enough

As you are reading this article, I don't know exactly where you are with your morning sickness.
Are you tired of your pregnancy nausea? When will you decide that you have had enough? When will you begin enjoying your pregnancy? My first pregnancy wasn't as pleasant as I'd imagined it would be.
I had seen my share of movies where the pregnant mother was a little nauseated during the first couple of weeks.
She maybe even vomited occasionally, but it was such a small event that she was able to just wipe her mouth with a small napkin, and that was that.
I also talked to women who made morning sickness sound like a minor inconvenience.
Now, either it truly was a minor inconvenience, or they had forgotten how bad it was.
I was hoping that the latter was true because I didn't want to be the only woman who was having such a hard time with her pregnancy.
After having thrown up for the twenty-eighth straight day (and not just in the morning), I had decided I had had enough.
I wanted to enjoy the time I had left with my pregnancy.
Since movies were an extreme falsehood and talking to others offered me no help, I decided to do some research.
The internet became my best friend.
I poured over hours and hours of research that I was able to gather from a ton of different sources.
During that research, I discovered references to acupuncture's affect on morning sickness.
Since I had been to an Acupuncturist previously for a back injury, I thought it was worth a try.
There was no conclusive evidence in the research I had found that said whether it was a sure-fire treatment option or not, so the only way to make a conclusion for myself was to try it.
It turned out to be one of the best decisions I had made as far as pregnancy care was concerned.
The Acupuncturist I had visited was also an herbalist.
Not only was she able to control my nausea and vomiting with acupuncture treatments, but she was also able to provide me with herbal remedies that allowed me to control my symptoms on my own.
Another benefit of making that first appointment with her was that she was also trained in acupressure.
After getting my symptoms under control with the acupuncture treatment, and teaching me about herbal remedies, she showed me some techniques for using acupressure.
These techniques, she said, would help me to control some of the mild symptoms that couldn't be helped by herbal remedies, and when I didn't have time to come in for acupuncture treatments.
She showed me techniques that I was able to perform on myself at times when my nausea was acting up.
The point in telling you all of this is that I had reached a point in my pregnancy nausea when I had had enough and I decided to do something about it.
Don't ever let anyone tell you that it is something that all women experience and it's just something you need accept.
Take steps to get your symptoms under control.
Explore treatments methods like acupuncture, acupressure, and herbs because they could mean the difference between months of misery and months of joy.
It's up to you.
