    • The Focus performs well on the road and has great handling and steering. The Focus SE, LX and ZTS models are equipped with a 2.0 liter, four-cylinder engine and five-speed manual transmission. The Focus ZTS model is more powerful, with a 130 HP engine opposed to the 110 HP engine found in the SE and LX models. The Focus SVT model provides even more power with a 170 HP engine and a six-speed manual transmission. The SVT model also has larger disc brakes and a sport-tuned suspension for better performance and handling. All of the 2003 Focus models are front-wheel drive and have optional cruise control, ABS brakes and traction control.
