- 1). Pull open the cover over the printer's paper input tray. Remove all paper in the input tray, including pieces that are partially stuck in the printer.
- 2). Open the printer's top cover and pull out the print cartridge. Set the print cartridge on a level surface, then pull out any stuck pieces of paper in the printer's rollers.
- 3). Reinstall the print cartridge so it sits in its original position, then close the printer's top cover. Inspect the papers you took out of the input tray and remove any that are torn, wrinkled or curled.
- 4). Straighten out the stack of blank papers by tapping them on a hard surface so all the margins line up. Place the paper stack into the printer's input tray, making sure to adjust the paper guides to the size of the paper stack.
- 5). Close the input paper tray's cover. Wait for the printer to automatically process the print job again.
- 1). Press the button on the printer labeled "Level 2." Use the up and down arrow buttons to select "Density," then press the right arrow button.
- 2). Use the down arrow button to adjust the print density setting to 1. Press the right arrow button to save the density setting, then press the "Exit" button.
- 3). Open the printer's top cover and remove the print cartridge. Clean the printer's rollers with a dry microfiber cloth to remove any loose toner, then replace the cartridge and close the cover.
- 4). Print three pages with only one character on each page. If the problem continues, remove the print cartridge from the printer and shake it from one end to the other to redistribute the toner inside.
- 5). Replace the print cartridge if you still see toner speckles on your printouts.
