Since the mid-2000s, Rob Corddry has become one of the most ubiquitous performers in all of comedy. He shows up in everything, from sitcoms to sketch comedies to movies both comedic and dramatic. A veteran of The Daily Show, Corddry now stars as clown doctor Blake Downs on Children's Hospital, a web series-turned-TV show that Corddry himself created. In 2010, Corddry created and starred on Children's Hospital, a parody of medial dramas, to be posted on WB.com, which features a huge cast of comedy stars: Ken Marino, Rob Huebel, Megan Mullally, David Wain, Nick Offerman and a revolving door of guest stars including Paul Scheer, Sarah Silverman, Jordan Peele and many more.
The webisodes were so popular that it was turned into a weekly series (episodes are 15 minutes each) on Adult Swim, where the show found success. In 2012, Corddry won an Emmy for Outstanding Short-format Live-action Entertainment Program.
