Best Mileage Bikes in India

India is a country where there is a lot of demand for the two wheelers.
The urban youth prefer a stylish two wheeler rather than a car as a personal vehicle because of the ease in riding and maintaining.
The motor bikes of the capacities 100 cc, 125 cc and 150 cc are highly in demand.
Most of the bike makers have many models in these categories with a variety of specifications, features and looks.
While buying a bike the main considerations will be the price, the fuel economy, the quality of ride and the appearance of the bike.
The diesel bikes are yet to be popular in India.
The major brands producing petrol bikes with decent mileages are Bajaj, Hero Honda, Yamaha, Suzuki and TVS.
In the 100 cc category, Bajaj has the Discover and the Platina with fantastic mileages of 82 and 90 kmpl and prices Rupees 44,000 and 39,000, respectively.
Hero Honda has the Splendor, the CB Twister, the CD Dawn and the CD Deluxe in this segment with mileages of 60, 70, 75 and 75 kmpl, respectively.
The Twister priced at Rupees 51,660 is the costliest in the 100 cc segment.
The extra wide seats of the Honda bikes give stability to the rider.
The Yamaha Alba with a price of Rupees 40,000 has a sporty instrument console and gives a mileage of 80 to 85 kmpl.
The Yamaha Crux with a price of Rupees 38,000 is stylish with multi-reflector headlights and chrome fenders.
The TVS Star City with two way adjustable rear shock absorbers is priced approximately Rupees 41,000 and has a top mileage of 83.

Among the 125 cc bikes the Honda Glamour gives a fantastic mileage of 81.
1 kmpl.
With a price of Rupees 60,000 it is a bit costly.
The Bajaj Discover 125, priced at Rupees 50,500 has a mileage of 76 kmpl and gives a good ride with its gas filled rear shock absorbers.
The Yamaha Gladiator, the Honda CB Shine, the Hero CB Stunner, the Hero Igniter and the Suzuki Slingshot Drum are some other 125 cc bikes with good mileages.
In the 150 cc the Bajaj Pulsar with a mileage of 65 kmpl, priced at Rupees 68,600 is the largest selling bike in India.
The Hero Xtreme and the Hero Hunk with almost the same prices and mileages and the costlier Hero CB Unicorn give tough competition to the leader.
The TVS RTR Apache at a price of Rupees 70,000 is the most powerful bike with good fuel efficiency.
The above rupees 1 lakh bikes include the Honda CB 150R and the Yamaha YFZ R15 with mileages of 47 kmpl approximately.
