Maximizing Your Chest Workouts

There are many different types of chest workouts that work great for building and toning muscle.
We are going to talk about a few things you can do at home in your free time using one of the most well known exercises that you have probably been doing since you were a kid.
Have you ever heard of pushups? Of course you have, almost everyone has.
Well pushups can be an incredibly valuable weapon in your arsenal to get fit.
The regular pushup can be done by getting in the pushup position and putting your hands even with your shoulders, going down to the ground and then back up.
This will work your chest and arms amazingly.
Do as many as you can because you want to strain your muscles so they can rebuild themselves bigger.
A diamond pushup is where you get in the same position but you move your hands close together.
Your hands and thumbs should form a sort of diamond on the floor in front of you, hence the name diamond pushup.
Going down and up with this pushup you will feel more of an isolation of your inner chest muscles.
Inclined pushups will work the upper part of your peck muscles.
This is where you put your feet on something higher than the floor forcing your weight further up.
As you do your pushup you will feel a different section of your chest being worked out, this is the right way to do it.
If you don't feel it then you need to raise your feet up until you feel those muscles start straining.
There are many different types of pushups you can do that will give you a good all around chest workout, just get out there and look up some more.
