How to Fix the Program Memory Problem for the T-Mobile Wing

    • 1). Use the Task Manager to shut down programs running unnecessarily in the background. To do this, tap "Start" from the home screen and select "Settings." Tap the "Systems" tab and then select "Task Manager." From the list that appears, tap the check boxes next to any programs you do not need to have running. Tap "Stop Selected" to close those programs. If the issues continue, further troubleshooting is needed.

    • 2). Perform a Soft Reset on your Wing. This will restart the phone and clear out any extraneous data in its program memory that may have built up over time, resulting in sluggish behavior. If the Wing has not been restarted for several weeks or more, this step may completely resolve the issues you are experiencing. If the program memory issues continue, third party applications may be at fault.

    • 3). Remove third party applications. While these type of applications provide extra functionality with the Wing, having too many installed can wreak havoc on program memory. To do this, tap "Start," "Settings" and then "Remove Programs." Highlight an application and then tap "Remove."
