- 1). Visit wheresmycellphone.com to make your cell phone ring. Input your 10-digit telephone number, and click "Make it Ring." The dialer automatically calls your phone. This can help you find it if you have an idea of its approximate location. Simply listen for the ring tone, and follow the sound.
- 2). Ask a friend or family member to call your phone if you suspect that someone may have it in their possession. You can use email or instant messaging to communicate with the person. You can also simply visit them and ask them to call your phone.
- 3). Visit a pay phone to call your cell phone. Although pay phones aren't as common as they used to be, you can still often find them outside of grocery stores and convenient stores. Use the online Pay Phone Directory to locate a pay phone.
- 4). Contact your service provider via email or online chat if you wish to have them disconnect the phone's service. This is your best option if you are concerned that the phone is stolen. This can prevent unauthorized use which could lead to additional charges.
