LSASS.EXE Terminated Unexpectedly

    • 1). Click "Start" and then type "regedit" in the search box. Select the "regedit.exe" result that appears.

    • 2). Double-click "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE," and then double-click "Support."

    • 3). Choose the "+" to the left of "CurrentControLSet" to expand its list and then double-click the "Services" entry that appears.

    • 4). Scroll down the list until you see the "Winsock2" entry. Right-click this entry and then select "Delete." Click "Yes" to confirm.

    • 5). Access the "ControlSet001" and "ControlSet002" entries and delete their "Winsock2" entries in the same way.

    • 6). Close the registry editor. Choose "Start" and then click the black arrow to the right of "Shut down." Select "Restart" to complete the process.
