My Computer Keeps Freezing - How Can I Fix It?

There are many factors that contribute to the freezing of computers, which make your computer stop working.
These factors are by nature both hardware and software based.
There are methods that are used to fix hardware problems on your computer as well as those that are aimed at fixing software issues.
However, it is important to note that good maintenance of your computer is the first step through which you can avoid and fix both hardware and software issues on your computer.
In the event that your computer freezes, there are several steps that you can take to fix the problem.
If your computer has the habit of freezing out on you, then there are also other steps that you can take to minimize the risk of losing valuable information or work in progress.
One of the most common ways of fixing freezing problems on your computer is by using the Ctrl+Alt+Delete keystrokes to bring about the task manger on your computer.
This will give you an option to end the tasks that are not responding and start new ones.
If ending the non-responsive programs still does not work, then the task manager also gives you the chance to restart your computer.
Restarting your computer is a safe way of ending the freezing problems and usually gives you the chance to recover the work that you were working on before the freezing occurred.
If restarting does not solve the problem still, then switching off completely and waiting for some minutes before starting your computer will do.
If your task manager is incapable of turning off your computer, then you should use the power button on your PCU to switch it off.
If this still does not turn your computer off, then the last option will be to switch it off though the power supply switch.
Let it remain off for some minutes and then reboot.
It is a good habit to always click the save button or icon when you are working.
When you regularly save your work, the chances of losing it through freezing of your computer are minimized.
It is also good to ensure that you run only the programs that you need on your computer and close those ones that you are currently not using.
This enables your computer to work without too much stressful processes that would only serve to clog it.
It is also good to remove all the viruses and malware from your computer.
