World of Warcraft is the king among online games.
It has a massive player base of roughly around 7 million people.
Everyone wants to get to level 70, that's the whole aim of the game.
I have never heard someone come up to me and say, I actually like leveling in westfall.
Please hold on while I proceed to vomit.
Most players have jobs/school and find getting to end game difficult, especially doing it alone.
It can take up to 3 months getting one character to level 70, without doing instances.
World of Warcraft by far, has the hardest to get end game level of all the games I have tested (and I have tested quite a few ;) In the modern World people want things done fast and simple.
Get in, get out.
Some people resort to powerleveling (a process of which someone else plays your account for you and in return you pay them, this can get you banned.
) , guides and botting (the process of using a program to level your character, this definitely will get you banned) to reach end-game.
Recently, questing has been proven the best and fastest way to get to level 70.
It's also the funnest way to get to level 70.
I've got some tips that will help you level.
1.
Add ons are your friend, specifically Catographer or Metamap.
Lightheaded is an amazing quest log which has a Wowhead comment database built in.
These can be found at http://www.
curse.
com 2.
Plan ahead, check wowhead and see what you need to do and if any other quests are near it.
More experience this way.
3.
Don't run back to quest givers every time you finish a quest, try multi-questing.
Do all your quests then turn them all in at once, this will motivate you more.
4.
Don't instance.
Simple.
If you want to level fast don't do instances, they are a waste of time.
I have found that I get too many "noob" groups that just waste my time, time that I could be using to level properly.
5.
Make sure you stack up on consumables, I recommend 40 liquid (if you a mana based class) and 40 food.
I also recommend a healthy stack of projectiles.
6.
Don't level in a group, level solo.
You get more experience leveling by yourself.
7.
Read about your class, there might be some thing you could be doing that could make you level a bit faster.
8.
Don't do any professions until you hit level 60, then level them up, they will slow you down a lot.
9.
Listening to music can improve your leveling pace, I recommend techno or heavy metal.
10.
Put a TV next to you, watch television while you level.
Well, that about sums up the tips.
If you follow these tips you'll find a dramatic increase in your experience.
Well, Azeroth is calling.
Goodbye for now!
